Have an empty wall space in your home that you’re not sure what to do with?

Not quite the space to hang wall art?
Then I think a photo gallery wall should do the trick! It’s such a simple, easy and inexpensive DIY project that you can do on your own with a few nice photos and photo frames of your choice.
Check out the steps below:
1. Figure out what space in your home you’d like to create this gallery wall. I’ve seen gallery walls in many different areas such as entryway spaces, going up the staircase, in bedrooms, in family rooms and dining rooms. The options are endless for you to create a nice gallery space. Once you find your space, measure the area in which you’d like to cover. This is important for step #2.
2. Based on your measurements, figure out what size frames you can fit and how many photos/frames you’d like to hang. You can also google different layout ideas to get an idea of how you’d like to hang your photos.
3. Next, you can buy some frames and print the photos you’d like to hang. This is where the project either becomes expensive or cheap, depending on the cost of your frames. You can choose to get them from higher end places, or bargain by going to Walmart and/or the thrift store. I chose to go the cheaper route and purchased 8, 11x14 matted to 8x10 Format frames from Walmart for $2.49 per frame. You can find the frames here.

4. Select the photos you’d like to insert into the frames and print them. I chose to print a few photos from our wedding in Black and White so that it will easily flow in our family room.
